The Paramus Board of Health and Human Services has begun our Holiday Food Drive for residents of Paramus through our volunteers at the Paramus Food Pantry. The food drive is on-going through the holiday season. The location is the Human Services building located at 105 North Farview Avenue. We are specifically in need of traditional holiday foods. Further, the following non-food ítems are always needed to stock our Pantry for our residents in need: laundry detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, napkins, dish detergent, cleaning products and personal care products.

About one in six people in the United States struggles with hunger, and issues related to hunger affect people in every community. In the fight to stamp out hunger, food pantries play a vital role by collecting large quantities of food and distributing it to our many neighbors in need. We have many residents who have been left behind, and the upcoming celebratory season is a wonderful way to share some generosity within our community with those less fortunate.

The hours of the Pantry are: Monday-9:30am-1:30pm; Tuesday-Closed; Wednesday-4:00pm-7:30pm; Thursday-12:00 noon-4:00pm; and Friday-2:00pm-5:00pm.
